Montecito Park

With recent renovations, Montecito Park is another basic yet fun spot in the Monterey Peninsula. It’s your average community park with a basketball court, a play structure, and a big old grass field. The basketball court has recently been revamped and has been turned into an ultra smooth flat ground. Along the basketball courts are a couple of uncapped benches that slide like butter. There are also a few heavily skated and waxed ledges towards the play structure that look like they were built to be shredded. As long as there isn’t a full court pick up game going on, you’re pretty safe to skate the basketball courts and park to your heart's content. There isn’t a whole lot to say about Montecito, but bring a kicker and maybe a flat bar and entertain yourself for hours in this little hot spot.
