PG Concrete Quarter (RIP)

The concrete quarter pipe in PG was recently destroyed unfortunately, however a small skateable bank still exists.  It’s tucked away at the end of a street in the hilly residential area of Pacific Grove/New Monterey and almost appears to be private with the apartment complex sitting across the street from it. However, residents don’t seem to mind the skating as long as there isn’t a massive scene on their street outside, so keep your sessions here lowkey and you should be in the clear. The quarter pipe (bank) backs up into a chain linked fence and has seen plenty of use over the years with some slight cracking a chipping to it, but nothing more than you’d expect from an old DIY quarter pipe (RIP). It’s a very entertaining spot and is another must see/skate if you’re in the area. Another upside to this hidden gem is that once you’re done skating it, there’s a perfect hill bomb below waiting to take you straight into Monterey and to the next spot. You can’t go wrong with this one.
